Day 13 – BURN: Burn It Off! & Recharge

Yes!!  Halfway through Burn Phase, see how quickly that passes?! :)  Great workout today.   I did not have my HR watch on for the first 10 minutes, but the next 20 minutes of Burn It Off I burned 354 calories with my heartrate often times at 180 bpm after the exercises.  I’ll tell you what, that workout flies by quickly and you are thankful for it!  The football drills were not as bad as last week, though it still maxed my HR… I’m also incredibly uncoordinated with my left lead on the “Step Straddle”, an exercise where we jog quickly in place and step one foot over our imaginary line (see thumbnail).  Right… no problem.  Left… yikes, I kept nearly tripping over myself or stepping straight forward or just freezing up.  Time…………………time……..

Yesterday evening my Shakeology shipment came in, Home Direct is now in effect so it will be delivered to my door every month, yay! I mixed my shake according to the recipe below and it was very yummy!

Reeses PB Cup
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology powder
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup Non-Fat Milk
Ice to taste


Very tasty, a little thick but I have to admit I like the nonfat milk flavor over the soymilk I’ve been using previously. I used almost a glass of ice, but it was still good and had a peanut butter cup flavor to it!

Tomorrow is my Rest Day, which means I will by Turbo Jammin’ it up with Cardio Party. Have a great weekend!
