Day 25 – BURN: Burn Intervals & Ab Burner

Checking in!  I have to admit something about my mindset today wanted to quit and be lazy, but even though I felt that voice in my head I kept pressing on and I am so glad I did.  It doesn’t take much time out of my day, and it feels like an accomplishment to get it done even when some part of me doesn’t want to.  I have to look at the bigger picture, and these small stepping stones are necessary to get to the end result.

I tried Almond Milk for the first time today with my Shakeology.. it wasn’t what I expected.  The shake did not turn out as “fluffy” or thick as it does with soy or cow’s milk… instead it was flat and more like a regular liquid.  I mixed 1 cup  almond milk with 2/3 cup water plus a  tablespoon of peanut butter and one cup of ice.  I also almost felt like I was having some mild acid reflux afterwards (I get that if I snack on too many almonds anyway).  Anyway, I don’t know how much of that was simply mental… I’m going to cut back on the almond milk and use 2/3 cup instead and go back to water at 1.  It is a bummer too, almond milk is only 40 calories per cup, but not only is it really expensive but I like the consistency and flavor of cow’s skim milk best.

    I’ve tried power 90, and Hip Hop abs but ended up bored with both of them i was wondering how you like Chalean Extreme in comparison.
