As you know, I am completely obsessed with Shakeology. So much, I have a sample box on the way to send proper samples to inquiring minds and a second bag of chocolate for the days I feel like two shakes a day rather than just one.

Today’s Beachbody News Network (BNN) video is on Holiday themed Shakeology recipes. I’ll add a review once I’ve tested them. Here’s the video. Below is the typed out recipes!

Happy Holidays!

Pumpkin Pie
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup milk of your choice
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/5
This came out REALLY thick, but it smelled good! The initial sip wasn’t bad, but I couldn’t get past 3 or 4. I ended up adding half a cup of water which helped the consistency from tar to a thick shake, but the nutmeg was overpowering. It was like I ate a Thanksgiving Centerpiece. I’ll try it again, but probably 1/4 nutmeg.
Cranberry Relish Surprise
1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology
2 cups cold cranberry juice
7 segments mandarin orange
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup ice

Review coming soon. Video says it is “tart”.
Fall Eggnog
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup low-fat eggnog
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
1 cup ice

3/5
Meh.  I mixed this with Soy Nog, and I’m not a major fan of Soy Milk’s flavor.  However, the Soy Nog on it’s own hasn’t been that bad, so I think the pumpkin spice and perhaps the mental scarring from the Pumpkin Pie is tainting this flavor!  I’ll give it another chance tomorrow morning without the spice.
Thin Mint Treat
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 1/2 cup cold water
1 tsp peppermint extract
1 cup ice

1/5
WAY too much peppermint. It was unbearable, and there was no way to dilute the peppermint flavor without ruining the whole thing. It went down the drain — but on the plus side my breath was fantastic.

I will try again with 1/4 tsp peppermint — it’s very potent!
