A demonstration of how quick and easy Shakeology is to make. Learn more about Shakeology’s benefits and awesomeness by watching this video.
Shakeology Peanut Butter & Honey Cup Recipe:
1/2 cup Nonfat Milk (or Soy/Almond Milk)
3/4 cup water
3-4 ice cubes
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tsp honey

Shakeology looks soo amazing. I have watched as many reviews about this shake as I could and a lot of them have been positive. I am just beginning to look at what BeachBody has to offer and I am getting really excited about beginning my first fitness challenge. I really want to try Insanity and Shakeology. I am confident that I am ready for Insanity but I am still holding back on the Shakeology. I am a college student and I find it hard to justify buying a month supply of Shakeology if I don’t even know if I will like it.
Hi Brittani!
I know the price can be intimidating but look at the value. I don’t know how your current eating habits are right now, but part of good nutrition and a fit lifestyle is fueling your body with proper foods — low fat, chicken breasts, egg whites, etc. If you look at how much money you’ll be spending on food, even on a weekly budget, and multiply the cost for Shakeology ($4 per day or $3 as a coach) by 7. You should actually SAVE money because you’re also closing the nutritional gap you’d need to fill with additional supplements and fresh food.
Also, if you were to sign up as a coach you save 25% on all purchases. IF Shakeology becomes your monthly habit (I’ll be “on” Shakeology for a year September!) you save $15 per month because you save $30 off Shakeology and the coach fee is $15/mo. Plus you’d save $30 on Insanity and 25% off anything else you buy (Recovery Formula, other programs, maybe even the deluxe package). And if anyone you know wants to buy the program or Shakeology, you receive a 25% commission :)
Anyway, it is just another way to look at it! If you sign up on my Team Beachbody Team (it’s free) to be one of my “customers”, I’d be happy to send you a free sample of Chocolate Shakeology! (I’m out of Greenberry)
That would be awesome if I could try it first. I know I am going to buy Insanity within the next few weeks (saving up money lol) and Shakeology depending on the taste. Where and how do I sign up? :)
Julie,
I came across one of your videos on You Tube when I was researching Insanity and found some of the insights you provided on the program really helpful. After reading through your comments on several of the Beachbody programs, I think that I am going to go with Chalean Extreme before trying Insanity. I am pretty fit (I do intense yoga a couple of times a week and lead a pretty active life) but am ready to bump things up to the next level. I just turned 25 and think I am hitting my quarter life crisis. ;) My theory is that if I build more muscle with Chalean, that my Insanity workout would probably be more effective. From your experience, is that what you would recommend? Also, between Insanity, Chalean Extreme, and Turbo Jam, which do you think is likely to get the best results (meaning more toned, loose just a pinch of fat on my stomach, stronger, better endurance, etc.) fastest? Finally, I want to make sure that if I am going to do this, that I do it all right, and it looks like that means incorporating shakeology into my diet. Before I make the first month $100 commitment, is it possible for you to send me a sample so that I can try it to make sure I like it? Thanks for your help!
Hi Amy! You have the right idea! Building muscle through a resistance program like Chalean Extreme (or P90X) will give your body a foundation of muscle that will continuously burn calories throughout the day. Also what I like about Chalean Extreme is the SCHEDULED program is 5 days — MWF weight resistance, Thursday, Saturday alternates between cardio and endurance (alternating cardio and high frequency, low weight to strengthen your support muscles for the heavier days) and a stretch that probably pales to your Yoga routine! That leaves 2 rest days to either rest or fill in with whatever you want, without feeling like you’re overworking yourself. I originally had intended to only have 1 rest day, but having the option of 2 and still having great results really worked well with my schedule.
Adding a program like Insanity or TurboFire (Turbo Jam is more geared towards beginners-intermediate) afterwards will challenge your body because you will shock it with a completely different program than what it was “adjusting” to, and once you’re comfortable you can create a hybrid combining the best of both worlds!
Incorporating Shakeology will be a huge benefit and that’s because it gives to your body what most of us lack in our daily nutrition either by food choices, convenience or the produce from overfarmed land. While the price can seem high, I look at it as this: either I need to add numerous supplements to my diet OR replace one of my meals with the shake that I’d otherwise spend $4 or more on anyway! So I do have samples, I just need you to sign-up at http://www.coachjuliefit.com (it is free, just click the gray free membership option) and then email me at hello@juliefit.com with your mailing address. Let me know if you would like to try Chocolate or Greenberry — I will send you a sample of the Rest & Recovery formula too!
If you’re interested in becoming a coach, even if it is just for the discount, you can save 25% on all purchases, so if you end up using Shakeology not only do you save $30 but it pays for the monthly coach fee ($15) and you still get 25% off everything else. I actually started as a discount seeker and the more I shared my experience, the more I realized I was helping people and not just saving money :)
