INSANITY on hold – ChaLEAN Extreme Lean Circuit 1

While I’m giving my knee time to heal, I will be revisiting ChaLEAN Extreme’s Lean Circuit (final phase workouts). It’s been over 6 weeks since these workouts and it is still fun! I kept it very easy on my knees because the purpose of these workouts is to continue to strengthen without putting my knees through much work so I can return to INSANITY. Towards the end I did start doing some of the lunges because they felt warmed up and these are not high-impact movements like Insanity.
The focal point of CLX (or CE) is Muscle Burns Fat — the program’s approach is like having a personal trainer with you and you use fewer repetitions but heavy weights. I followed the weights according to my last Lean Circuit 1 workout.

ChaLEAN looks a lot like P90X but with the dual arm/leg moves. I might end up having to give that a try after P90X!
I really hope that you’re able to find a good balance for your knee. That new brace should help some.
