P90X Day 4 – Yoga X (I talk about Day 3, too)

Week 1 – Day 3 I could barely move as the soreness from Day 1′s workout kicked into full gear! Nonetheless, I pushed on. P90X moves quicker than Chalean, so I had to pause between nearly every workout to switch my weights. Yoga X left me feeling a little TOO relaxed, maybe next week I’ll have a better time explaining the workout :)

  • YogaX is a bear. The 90 minutes seems intimidating, but after a few times through it gets easier. I still struggle with some of the poses, shoulder stand, plough, twisting half moon to name a few, but I keep trying because I know how good this is for me.

As the weeks pass you’ll come to crave the good stretch YogaX provides. It really relieves a lot of the muscle soreness. The downside is that is creates a little soreness in the joints and ligaments. lol, it seems Tony always finds a way to make us keep him in mind.

    Keep Pushing Play,
    Mike

Hello Mike! Nice to hear from a fellow coach :)

Once I got through the first half (lunges/plank with the warrior stances) it was even better. That’s what I was attempting to say but had to edit out since I didn’t make sense — haha! I loved the stretching, even if I fell over on some of the moves. It is only my first go, so I can only see myself improving from here forward!

My sore muscles definitely felt better afterwards, and even moreso today… time to tear them back down with legs & back though :)
