P90X Workout Day 7 – Kenpo X

Week 1 – I took my Rest Day on Day 6, so it’s Kenpo X Sunday morning, burning 470 calories in the process. My hamstrings were the first to awaken yesterday post-workout and this morning (Monday) I feel my lats and glutes saying hello, too! The week and workouts went by quickly — don’t be intimidated by the time my friends! I can personally say I can easily find an hour to trade sitting around watching TV, playing games, or browsing the internet to trade for better health, fitness and happiness!

I finished 7 weeks of Insanity and jumped into P90X because i couldn’t wait to start up P90X. Like you, Insanity just killed my legs and left knee but not to the effect of what happened to you. I am currently finishing week 7 of P90X right now but miss the cardio that I got from insanity. So check this out, I stayed on track of all the resistance training and for the most part the plyo on P90X (sometimes I use Insanity’s Plyo.) For the Yoga (I really hate yoga) and KempoX, I swithch it out for Insanity’s Pure Cardio or Cardio Power and Resistance. It works out for me and I love the sweat I get from it.

Hi Eric! That’s a cool approach, that’s one of the things I love about this program! I’m going to get myself through the program and see how I can do with Insanity after P90X, but I do want to get in more cardio so I’m going to add Brazil Butt Lift on Monday and do doubles, but skipping sculpting from BBL. P90X’s plyo is definitely nothing compared to Insanity!
